Signal Brewery partners with Sutton United to open new Fan Zones
Last weekend saw the opening of Sutton United’s Fan Zones – with bars and Signal taps now installed and we are delighted to be partering with our local team.
Situated at the Gander Green Lane end of the club, the new Home fan zone allows Sutton supporters to come together and enjoy fresh Signal beers, cider, food and shade in a convivial atmosphere in the build-up to kick off and after the game. A similar facility has been installed for the Away fans in the concourse behind the visitors’ terrace.
Sutton United FC was founded in March 1898 when a meeting of two leading local clubs, Sutton Association and Sutton Guild Rovers, decided that they should join forces. The amber and chocolate colours of Sutton Association were retained, along with both clubs’ grounds, and the United club’s first game was against Norwood & Selhurst FC.
The amber design elements are clear to see in the Fan Zone (although we’ve added a dash of our trademark red!)
The opening of the new Fan Zones tied in with the first game of the EFL League Two fixture and we can’t wait to see supporters using the space with pints in hand over the coming weeks.
